Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL) has rebranded Kibao Vodka. This is a bid to reposition it as an aspirational brand to meet the ever-evolving consumer tastes.
As per a recent report by industry body CIABC, the sale of premium liquor priced above Rs 1,000 per 750 ml rose by 48 per cent. The report also highlighted that while the market is still dominated by products priced below Rs 500, the share of premium brands is now at 20 per cent.
