As many as 13 nations will send their navies to participate in largest-ever multi-lateral naval exercise hosted by the Indian Navy. The participation of countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar is significant in wake of Chinese navy’s growing influence and aggressive posturing in the Indian Ocean region.
