Hayley Keating has been charged with the murder of 45-year-old Matthew Wormleighton. Mr Wormleighton died following an incident at a property on Forts Orchard, in Chilthorne Domer, near Yeovil, A post-mortem examination concluded the preliminary cause of death as a single stab wound. Keating, of Forts Orchard, Chilthorne Domer, has been remanded in custody pending an appearance at Yeovil Magistrates’ Court on Monday (May 17).

Police have issued an update after a murder investigation was launched in a village near Yeovil yesterday (May 14).
A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of murder following initial enquiries.
Yeovil District Hospital POLICE have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Somerset today (Friday, May 14). A woman has been detained and is currently in police custody. Officers attended a home in Chilthorne Domer, near Yeovil, at 4.45am following a report of an injured man. He was taken by paramedics to Yeovil District Hospital, where he has since sadly died. Detective Chief Inspector Mark Almond, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts go out to them at this difficult time.
