news 14th Int’l Children’s Film Festival begins today The New Nation Entertainment Report : The 14th edition of International Children’s Film Festival, organised by Children’s Film Society Bangladesh (CFSB), will begin in the capital today. The festival will feature 179 films nominated from a total submission of 1,116 films from 81 countries. International Children’s Film Festival will host films from 37 countries including Bangladesh, India, France, Japan, Italy, Iran, Australia, and China. Information Minister Hasan Mahmud will inaugurate the festival as the chief guest and State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid will be present at the inauguration ceremony as the special guest. 14th International Children’s Film Festival to commence from January 30 Arts & Entertainment Desk Arts & Entertainment Desk The 14th edition of the International Children s Film Festival, organised by Children s Film Society Bangladesh, will commence from January 30. The six-day will be held across three venues where contributors from 37 countries will participate. A total of 179 films have been shortlisted from the submissions to be screened. The programme will be inaugurated by Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud. The opening ceremony, presided over by eminent filmmaker Morshedul Islam who is also the founder of Children s Film Society Bangladesh, will be held at Shawkat Osman Auditorium of Sufia Kamal National Public Library at 4 pm on January 30.
