Sindh cabinet decides to engage private hospitals, labs for COVID-19 Mass Vaccination
Karachi, March 16, 2021 (PPI-OT): The provincial cabinet has passed a resolution reposing confidence and trust in Election Commission of Pakistan, its chairman and members and has called upon the federal government not to intervene in discharge of the constitutional obligations of the ECP. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah here at CM House on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, advisor law, chief secretary and concerned secretaries.
COVID Mass Vaccination: The Sindh Cabinet has decided to engage private hospitals and laboratories in COVID-19 Mass Vaccination programme and encourage the private health sector to import COIVID-19 vaccine, allocate human resources and establish vaccination centers, especially in Karachi.
Nasir Hussain Shah condemns attack on Rangers in Orangi Town
Karachi, March 16, 2021 (PPI-OT): Sindh Minister for Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has condemned the attack on Rangers in Orangi Town and added that Chief Minister Sindh has directed IG Sindh and additional IG Police Karachi to increase the patrolling to avoid such incident in Karachi. He said that anti-state elements would be dealt with severely. Crime rate in Karachi had drastically decreased due to sacrifices of our law enforcement agencies including police, rangers and others. The minister expressed these views while briefing media regarding Sindh Cabinet decision on Tuesday at Sindh Assembly committee room.
CJP Gulzar Ahmed asks govt to review, implement LJCP reports swiftly

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed Thursday showed his concerns over weak implementation status of reports of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan (LJCP) and recommendations for amending various laws. He emphasised that the federal government should consider measures for expeditious process to review and implement the Commission reports.
The CJ directed the Attorney General for Pakistan to take up the matter with the government to expedite the process of implementation of reports. An LJCP meeting was held at the committee room of the Supreme Court of Pakistan building here on Thursday, with Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed in the chair as the chairman of the Commission.
