Armed robber arrested in Tema LISTEN

The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested a 25-year old suspected armed robber, Musah Adam alias Adams, in his hideout in Tema.
The suspect had been on the radar of the Police for some time but luck eluded him, leading to his arrest by the Police, acting on intelligence, in Tema on May 5, 2021.
Musah Adamu has since been arraigned before the Tema Circuit Court and remanded into police custody to re-appear on May 17, 2021.

Phone tracker blows cover of thieves
A four-member phone snatching syndicate has been picked up in Ashaiman by the Tema police on April 21, 2021, after they snatched an iPhone 12 Pro from a victim at Adentan.
The phone was snatched from the victim who sat at the rear of the vehicle he was travelling on from Adentan to Ashaiman.
While the victim was busy chatting on the phone, the suspects allegedly appeared from his blind side and grasped the phone.
Briefing a section of the media at the Tema Regional Police Command, Chief Inspector Stella Dede Dzakpasu, Acting Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the Command, narrated that luck, however, ran out for the suspects when the owner tracked the phone to their hideout in a rented apartment at Misisokope at Lebanon Zone 4, Ashaiman, where he met two of the suspects and informed the police.

Zenu-Atadeka Police recapture seven suspects …five on the run

Six of them have since been convicted by the Ashaiman Circuit Court on their own pleas, on charges related to their escape from lawful custody.
This was contained in a statement signed by Chief Inspector Stella Dede Dzakpasu, acting Public Relations Officer of the Tema Regional Police Command, and copied to the Ghana News Agency at Tema on Saturday.
The statement said, the Regional Command was making all efforts to re-arrest the five suspects who broke out of their custody.
The Police said, “Three out of the six who have been convicted were picked up from a hideout at Kubekrom No. 2 on the same day of escape, while the remaining three were picked up from Juapong in the Volta Region on April 6, 2021 with support of information from the public.”

Seven suspects who escaped from the Zenu Atadeka Police Cell, which is under the Tema Regional Police Command, have been rearrested by the police.
Three of the fugitives were grabbed at their hideout at Kubekrom Number Two last Sunday, the day of the jailbreak, while three others were grabbed in separate operations at Juapong last Tuesday.
The seventh suspect, Sumaila Karim, 21, surrendered himself to the police on April 8, 2021.

The acting Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Tema Regional Police Command, Chief Inspector Stella Dede Dzakpasu, said six of the escapees had been put before the Ashaiman Circuit Court, where they were convicted on their own plea of guilty to charges related to their escape from lawful custody.
