Man arrested after Alabaster Walmart robbery Share Updated: 5:00 PM CST Jan 21, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital Share Updated: 5:00 PM CST Jan 21, 2021 WVTM 13 Digital A Montevallo man was taken into custody, days after a robbery at the Alabaster Walmart store.The Alabaster Police Department reported Joseph Adam Stephens, 29, is charged with Robbery and Theft which occurred at the store Saturday, January 16th.Several social media posts were published showing a photo from a security camera at the store.APD stated the U.S. Marshals Service s Fugitive Task Force located Stephens and took him into custody yesterday, January 20th.“We want to thank the public for assisting in the identification of this individual” stated Chief Curtis Rigney. APD says additional charges may be filed in the future.Stephens remains in the Shelby County Jail with a total bond of $33,000.

ALABASTER., Ala. (WBRC) - Alabaster Police arrested a Montevallo man Wednesday for theft and robbery that took place at the Walmart in Alabaster earlier this month.
29-year-old Adam Stephens was taken into custody by the US Marshals Service’s Fugitive Task Force and charged with robbery first degree and Theft of property fourth degree that occurred at the local Walmart on January 16.
His bonds total $33,000.
“We want to thank the public for assisting in the identification of this individual” stated Chief Curtis Rigney.

Several Cree communities in northern Quebec have moved to put in place tighter restrictions amid COVID-19 outbreaks in two communities Mistissini and Oujé-Bougoumou.
On Wednesday, the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay added four more confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to the 30 already linked to three gatherings and parties over the new year. That brings the total number of active cases linked to the current outbreak to 34.
