The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered $13,204 from Nwachi Chidozie Kingsley, a Nigerian facing trial for internet fraudster and arranging a fake marriage with an American woman. He was arraigned before a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Maitama, Abuja in March 2023 on charges bordering on internet fraud. The suspect was arraigned before Justice U.P. Kekemeke on two counts bordering on stealing, obtaining by false pretence and criminal possession of fake documents.
The EFCC has recovered $13,204 and assets from Nwachi Chidozie Kingsley, a Nigerian man accused of defrauding his American lover through a fake marriage scheme.
