Beer, food and live music are on tap Saturday during the sixth annual Battle of the Brews.

Matt Green serves Logboat beer Friday June 28, 2019 during the 5th Annual Battle of the Brews at Capital Bluffs Event Center. 26 vendors gave samples of their beverages as they competed for the best local and home brewers title. All proceeds raised will benefit the Samaritan Center, SafetyNet and Central Missouri Community Action with a goal of $30,000. The event also included live music by the Dave Baker Band, a live and silent auction that included a signed helmet by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahones and a raffle for a wheel barrel of party favors worth $500.

This is an outdoor, live music series in the downtown MX District. Come support local musicians at a safe, socially distant, mask-required and clean location. Bring your own chair!
