HOLYOKE Layli Long Soldier, an award-winning poet from Santa Fe, New Mexico, will read Wednesday, Feb. 10, as part of the Paper City Poetry Series.
Long Soldier, a member of the Oglala Lakota Nation, is the author of the 2017 poetry collection “Whereas,” which won a National Books Critics Circle award and was a finalist for a National Book Award.
The series is a presentation of The Care Center, the educational and cultural resource center for young women who are pregnant and parenting.
