New research about the Little Rock tornado is busting myths people have lived by their entire lives, showing just how unique the storm was on March 31, 2023.
The drinking water utility that serves the Little Rock metro area said in a news release Wednesday that it was working to address a discoloration, adding that the water was still safe to drink. Officials with Central Arkansas Water said the discoloration was caused by higher than normal levels of manganese in water drawn from Lake Maumelle.
