A DRUNK driver has been banned from boozing in pubs and restaurants after he led police on a 125mph chase on the A127. Lee Gallant has been spared jail but has been told he cannot drink in “licensed premises” following the drunken rampage. The 25-year-old had been in a volatile relationship with his partner and his mood would change after he drank, accusing her of cheating and demanding to see her phone. Things came to a head when the pair were driving home from a pub in Basildon on August 8 last year and a row started. Gallant forced the woman out of the car and drove off - drunkenly driving around Basildon, as well as on the A127, A13 and M25.
