The director of auction house Webb's says he expects a painting from late Christchurch artist Bill Hammond to become one of the most expensive paintings ever sold in New Zealand.
Melting Moments I will be sold in Auckland tonight for between $1.5 million and $2.5 million dollars. Webb's director of art, Charles Ninow, says it's one of the most significant pieces to come up for sale in a long time.
