PAWTUCKET – Shea High School’s valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2021 both say they learned plenty during their four years in high school, and not just academically.
“Being at Shea was really a learning experience,” Valedictorian Charlisa Kollie said, adding that she had the opportunity to go to an all-girls school but chose to stay at Shea, and appreciates its diverse environment.
“We all come from different places around the world,” she said. “It’s good to see all of that.”
Salutatorian Allison Dos Santos Soares, who moved to the U.S. from France four years ago, said Shea is the first U.S. school she’s attended.
