Crystal wright, your new book, con job, requests whos being conned and whos doing the conning . Guest well, i think democrats are doing the conning particularly of black americans and women. I argue in my book, con job, because theyre kind of like the Democrat Party, in my view, is kind of like a used car salesman. It peddles all these promises and pledges to black americans, were going to make things better since lbj, were going to make you smarter, richer, more educated. Fast forward to today, black americans are none of those things. In fact, i talk about in con job how the head of the Congressional Black Caucus last year said that blacks were, in quote, a state of emergency. Under the first black president , mind you.
