We are most proud to have one of these nine with us this evening. Stevenslecture is honorable elana kagan, associate justice of the United States of Supreme Court. [applause] mr. Anaya notably, Justice Kagan replaced Justice Stevens on the Supreme Court after the late justice announced his retirement and president barack obama appointed her to the court.
