WWE s Charlotte Flair to star in Walking Tall remake

WALKING TALL is in development for USA Network from
Battlestar Galactica producer David Eick with WWE star Charlotte Flair, daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair, slated to star.
The
Walking Tall remake is being developed as a two-hour TV movie, but it s the hope that it will be successful enough to spawn sequels or a perhaps even an ongoing series. Charlotte Flair will play a Tucson cop who finds herself caught in a web of fraud, exploitation and murder, and is forced to go full vigilante to protect her home town from falling victim to modern corruption. The originally 1973 film was followed by several sequels, a TV movie, and a short-lived TV series. Dwayne Johnson also starred in a remake of
