Panaji (Goa) [India], May 23 (ANI): Amid the ongoing oxygen crisis in Goa due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar has made arrangements for a van with five oxygen concentrators powered by two generators and emergency medicines.
Goa CM pays tributes to Parrikar on his second death anniversary
Panaji, Mar 17 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday paid tributes to former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on his second death anniversary at his Smriti Sthal, Miramar, in the city.
He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Babu Kavlekar and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goa unit President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
Speaking to reporters after paying the tributes, Dr Sawant said absence of late Parrikar continued to be felt. I have offered my respects to late Manohar Parrikar on the occasion of his second death anniversary. After two years, we continue to follow Parrikar s principle of Antyodaya (outreach to the last person in society). We feel his absence, but we are taking forward the efforts he has made for overall development of Goa, he said.
