If you’ve been hooked by the gripping sixth series of Line of Duty, BBC One has another suspenseful thriller on the way from the makers of the smash-hit crime drama.

Suranne Jones (Gentleman Jack) and Martin Compston (Line of Duty) star in Vigil, which will unravel a dark conspiracy that goes right to the heart of the Britain’s national security.
The story kicks off with a suspicious death aboard the submarine HMS Vigil and the mysterious disappearance of a fishing trawler, with DCI Amy Silva (Jones) tasked with getting to the bottom of what’s really going on.
