Taking the lead in ticket finalization, Congress today issued a list of 46 candidates for the Vidhan Sabha polls due on November 12 even as the party is holding deliberations to take a final call on the remaining 22 seats.

Vandana Guleria, daughter of Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh Thakur, won the election of member of Zila Parishad from Grayoh ward under Dharampur Assembly segment of Mandi district today with a margin of 724 votes.
She defeated her arch rival Congress-supported candidate and CITU leader Bhupender Singh. Three candidates were there in poll fray for Zila Parishad election from this ward. Vandana Guleria secured 8,457 votes, Bhupender Singh got 7,733 votes and Kudeep Singh polled 768 votes.
