Udhamsingh Nagar DCCB holds AGM; Profit grows

Uttarakhand based Udhamsingh Nagar District Central Cooperative Bank organized its 11th Annual General Meeting in one of the hotels located at Rudraprayag last week. With no effect of Covid-19 on the business of the bank, in the 2019-20 financial year the bank performed well on all the financial parameters and earned a net profit of Rs 6.69 crore. Earlier i.e. in 2018-19 the bank had earned a net profit of Rs 3.06 crore. Addressing the AGM, the bank Chairman Yogendra Singh Rawat presented the blueprint for the progress of the bank before the delegates present on the occasion. He informed that the bank will open five branches at Chakarpur, Diyuri, Nanakmatta, Mahuakhera Ganj and Narayan Nagar till the end of the current financial year.

2 men, toddler killed after car rams into truck on EPE | Noida News

Representative image GHAZIABAD: Three persons, including a toddler, were killed after the car in which they were travelling rammed a truck on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, police said on Monday. The accident took place at 10am on Sunday near Milan Chakarpur village in Ghaziabad. The deceased have been identified as Arun Kumar (32), his two-year-old son Aarav and truck driver Harpreet Singh (40). While Arun was originally from Rajasthan, Harpreet was from Amritsar. Arun worked as a manager with a private company in Sonipat, from where he had booked a cab to travel to Noida. Besides his son, the occupants of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio included his wife Mahi and their driver Mohit, both of whom are recuperating in the ICU.

GST fraud: GST assistant commissioner in Rourkela under vigilance radar Post News Network Rourkela: Vigilance officers Tuesday conducted simultaneous searches at the property of GST assistant commissioner, Alekh Mahananda, on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Four teams are conducting the raids. Following the direction of vigilance SP Subas Chandra Swain, the teams led by DSP Birendra Nayak are carrying out simultaneous raids on his house in Chhend area in Rourkela, on his office chamber, GST office at Udit Nagar, ancestral house at Mangaspur village under Bhashma police limits in Sundargarh district and his in-laws’ house at Chakarpur village under Gopalpur police limits in Sundargarh.
