One person is fighting for their life after a shooting on the east side of the valley. Kirsten Joyce Michael Stevens is live on scene at lake mead and hollywood with the latest. Michael . Patrick, kirsten. Metros homicide unit are the ones leading the investigation at this point because they say the victim. A n to survive. Metro police say the shooting happened just before midnight inside the avion apartment complex near lake mead and hollywood boulevard. Police say the suspect in this shooting. Walked up to a ground level apartment and shot multiple times inside. Again, police say a man in his early 20s was hit but he wasnt the only one inside the apartment at the time of the shooting lt. So witnesses watched in horror as the cart tipped over suddenly spilling them to the ground. This morning authorities are treating the incident like a crime scene. Overnight a scare at a county fair. Ive got three kids that fell from the ferris wheel. Three kids. Reporter three children reportedly 10 to 12 years old in a terrifying fall from a ferris wheel in eastern tennessee. Investigators say the car carrying the young passengers snagged on another cart on its way up spilling them out. One witness saying the children bounced off the metal briding of the ride eventually hitting the ground 30 to 45 feet below.
