There are 10 recruits currently in police academy training at the Law Enforcement Training Institute in the pipeline to work for the Columbia Police Department.
Woman arrested after barricading herself inside of home on Carol Drive
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia Police Department responded to Carol Drive around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Jeff Pitts, Community Relations Specialist/Public Information Officer for the Columbia Police Department stated, On Saturday at approximately 5:30 officers responded to the 2900 block of Paris Road, in regards to a shots fired call. Officers arrived and through the investigation learned one shot was fired, however there were no injuries.
Police investigated the scene and found evidence of one shot fired in the parking lot of American Freight Furniture and Mattress at 2900 Paris Road. Police reported there were no injuries or property damage from the gunshot.
