The Cody Stampede Board was awarded "Rodeo Committee of the Year" by the Xtreme Bulls during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas earlier this month.
The vote wasn t unanimous, but the Planning Commission gave the go-ahead recently on a large-scale development plan for a new car wash to be located on the grassy land east of Arvest Bank on Main Street.
The Planning Commission voted on a couple of items at its June 27 meeting, but it mainly discussed topics that included multifamily design standards, the city s cul-de-sac ordinance and connectivity standards for proposed developments.
