Professor Lynn Morris takes the reins today for five years as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Innovation at Wits University.
Morris has demonstrable experience in research management and leadership and will drive the research agenda as the University approaches its centenary in 2022.
Her appointment acknowledges her extensive research leadership and management experience, as well as her impressive research record and globally recognised scholarship.
With her collaborative leadership style and ability to create an enabling research environment, Morris is posed to strengthen the University’s research position on the continent.
