The ladies of A Wicked Cabaret are excited to bring a drag show to the patio at The Alley Theatre on Saturday, April 17. The show will feature your favorite songs, four glamorous queens, gorgeous gowns, and a whole lot of sparkle.
One of the gueens performing that night is Savannah Devereaux.
A resident of Fairhaven, she learned at an early age that too much was just the right size for her. When other little boys wanted to play football, Savannah wanted to sing and tap dance. She discovered a wonderful thing called musical theater. She honed her skills on the stage. This world gave her purpose and confidence. She found a forever home in the footlights glow, and never looked back.

Central Cafe updates for pandemic. and the future

MIDDLEBORO Mark Hannon and Bill Fuller, owners of Middleboro’s oldest cafe, the Central Cafe, recently expressed their gratitude for the efforts and dedication of restaurant staff, area frontline workers and the Middleboro community as a whole during what has been an unprecedented time for the town. and the town’s iconic pizza joint.
Since March, Hannon and Fuller have been adapting “the Central” to align with COVID-19 standards set by the State and restaurant industry to keep both customers and staff safe. And throughout the ordeal and hustle have received nothing but support from all around.
BRYCE Lloyd has struggled to find work since leaving school because of his learning disability.
Now 20, and employed full time, Bryce says things are on the up.
“I love coming to work,” he told “CityNews”.
The hard-working kitchen hand has been given an opportunity with Bean Central cafe in Queanbeyan, which teaches those having difficulty finding a job how to make coffee, take orders, wash dishes, prepare food and wait on tables.
“This is my first job, I work here five days a week…it’s really great,” Bryce says.
Bryce is one of 13 employees who have a range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, autism and Down syndrome.
