Paris, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) The Cuba Linda French solidarity association described Cuban women as an example of dignity and struggle and highlighted their role in the Revolution of January 1st, 1959.
Regarding International Women s Day, the organization greeted Cuban women and considered them heirs to emblematic figures of the independence and revolutionary deeds, such as Mariana Grajales, Haydee Santamaria, Celia Sanchez and Vilma Espin. To the researchers, doctors, nurses, educators, mothers and sisters, all these warriors, who have not only fought and achieved equal rights for themselves, but are examples of combat and effort for a better, fairer, more dignified and more supportive life, the association stressed in a message cited by Prensa Latina.
