NASHUA, NH Two New Hampshire not-for-profit organizations were the recipients of $5,000 grants after being recognized as volunteering difference-makers by the New England Patriots Foundation in a virtual celebration that took place this week. Robert Skirvin-Orr of the Team Walk For Cancer Care which is run through Lowell Hospital in Nashua and Isabel Povey from Seeds of Hope in Hampstead were among 15 grant recipients from around New England that were recognized by the Patriots Foundation and the Kraft family on Wednesday.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Throughout the 2020 season, the Kraft family and the New England Patriots Foundation continued its Celebrate Volunteerism initiative by teaming with nonprofit organizations to educate fans about the need for volunteering, highlighting deserving volunteers from across the region and seeking to inspire Patriots fans to become lifelong volunteers. The foundation presented a weekly Patriots Difference Maker of the Week award, which recognizes deserving volunteers who go above and beyond to support their New England communities.
