Accidenttl shooting o o an eastern iowa man this morning. According to the Black Hawk County Sheriffs Office the incident happened in Elk Run Heights after 1230 thisorning. They say he dropped a handndun while he was getting out if his car. They believe it then went off when it hit the ground and hit his leg. He was then taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. CountytySheriffs Office the gun used in the incident was a 38 caliber handgun a smaller pistol like the one you see here.
