Electric Vehicle In Delhi: The sale of electric vehicles (EVs) in Delhi has seen a 20% increase in the first six months of the current fiscal year compared to the same period last year, according to data from the transport department. Meanwhile, sales of diesel vehicles have decreased by over 24% during the same period. Delhiites purchased 32,400 EVs by September 30, up from 26,936 the previous year. The interest in diesel vehicles has waned due to their higher cost and environmental impact. The Delhi government aims to register 25% of new vehicles as electric by 2025.
