SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Police have arrested a 15-year-old suspected of stealing a car, crashing into a business to gain entry, stealing guns, and then crashing the vehicle a second time while trying to escape.
Sarasota Police say it happened in the 300 block of Orange Avenue, just before 7:30 a.m., Friday.
Detectives believe the teen from Palmetto, who ABC7 will not name because of his age, backed a stolen Ford SUV into a side window of The Bullet Hole gun shop to gain access inside. Once inside, the teenager stole several firearms and left the area in the vehicle.
