For the second time in six months the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) will have to fill the role of chief executive officer.That’s because current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Geoffrey Roach has announced that he will be stepping down from the position after only a short time in the role.A press release issued today stated that Roach made the disclosure during the BHTA’s recent Fourth Quarterly Meeting.Last May, then CEO Rudy Grant stepped down from the role after six years to also pursue other opportunities. He was subsequently named as Barbados’ Consul General to Miami.
