Best-selling author, speaker and organizational business coach, Leslie Yerkes, found out in 2013 when she discovered a forgotten, feral South African Mastiff eking out a subsistence living in a neighborhood factory field.
Yerkes debut children s book, Lost, Found & Forever: When You Make a Promise, Keep It, chronicles her heartwarming journey rescuing the oversized and undernourished pooch who in the end – wound up rescuing Yerkes. This week, the Cobb Board of Commissioners voted to establish a COVID-19 vaccination call center that will ensure our residents receive the most up-to-date information, available appointments and guidance on how they can remain safe. Carahsoft Technology Corporation is a State of Georgia participant. Contracting with Carahsoft using Salesforce Technology, Catalyst Consulting Group and Maximus call center staffing and experience will provide 311/CRM Software, online chat service and robust reporting tools with the ability to expand functionality as needed. This will also ensure the staffing necessary to guarantee customer satisfaction. The contract with Carahsoft is for $1,763,001, with a contingency allocation of $236,998, to provide customer support for the next four months. Federal CARES funds will be used for this project. We hope to have the call center up and running in the next few weeks.
