Aggie swim team staffer to manage U.S. Olympic swim team

COLLEGE STATION, TX â Alex Dawson, Texas A&Mâs director of operations for swimming and diving, will be heading to the Olympics in Tokyo this year as the new team manager for USA Swimming.
While spectators watch athletes and coaches in the pool, Dawson will be the man behind scenes, making sure the team is fully functional. An Aggie alumnus and former student athlete in his own right, Dawson has been involved in the world of competitive swimming since childhood. For the past 14 years, heâs served as director of operations over Texas A&M s prize winning water sports teams.

Casey Dawson said he commits himself nearly every day to doing hard work in a gym and focusing on the little things that could lead to bigger things.
Like the Olympics. That s the pinnacle of sport, he said with a smile. There s a lot of pride in representing the U.S. at the Olympic Games.
Dawson is a long track speedskater, and a promising one, with Team USA, based at the Utah Olympic Oval in Kearns.
