City Council members voted unanimously at their Feb. 8 meeting to call the bond election as well as order special elections to fill an unexpired council term and to include 13 proposed city charter amendments on the ballot.
A report found that the city’s police department only met its response time goal for high-priority calls 46 percent of the time. Fort Worth has the slowest response time goal of Texas’ five largest cities.
