Carson City Manager Larry Werner will retire effective Dec. 19, city officials announced Tuesday. Werner has served in the role of city manager since February 2008. “For me, this has been a wonderful experience and I would not have traded it for anything,” said Werner in a letter to the Carson City Board of Supervisors.
