The dog days of August are almost over, but Saturday went to the dogs anyway at the Nevada Humane Society in Carson City to celebrate National Dog Day.
Nevada Humane Society in Carson City will offer a new clinic beginning this week to allow for low-cost spay and neuter surgeries. The clinic is part of the new Carson City Animal Shelter operated by NHS that opened October 2016.
The Carson City Chamber Leadership Institute Class of 2013 will graduate on Thursday, September 12 after an intensive nine months of learning about Carson City and will unveil their leadership project at the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada.
