live on the scene with more details. some are very tense moments here. the 13-year-old did bring a gun to school at stemmers run middle school, just near eastern boulevard at the exit at 702. we have a video from the scene, and we see parents showing up. they got word by way of a telephone call from the school. it was the heroic efforts of a classroom teacher who knocked the gun out of the students at hand. certainly this comes just about two weeks since the perry hall high school incident, in which a student was shot. we were able to talk with a student who said he was in that class at the time of the incident. we were casually sitting in the classroom, and at the student left to go to the bathroom for 20 minutes, and then he came back and he was kind of teared up, and the teacher was like, what s wrong, and that he pulled the gun out, and she was like, put the gun down, put the gun down. he started swinging at around and ended it people, and he aimed it at the teacher,
coldspring lane just before 7:30 last night, where they found a man shot and slumped over in a car. a homicide unit has been notified, but there s no official word on the victim s condition at this hour. city police are also investigating three separate double shooting that happened in east baltimore. the first happened at north streeper street just after 3:00 this morning. that is when the police found two male victims, one of them a 20-year-old shot in the face. police say that the second victim only suffered a graze wounds. no word on conditions or possible motive. five hours after the shooting, officers responded to the 200 block of eaton street. a 32-year-old man was killed in that attack. the other victim is in the hospital right now. this shooting may have stemmed from a possible robbery attempt. just minutes before that, officers were called to the 2700 block of boone street. we are told that both victims received gunshot wednesday, one of them shot in the leg. both w

kim dacey is live at the school, and in jayne miller has the latest on the investigation ritchie is live in dundalk. you just attended a press conference. what more have you learned? 15-year-old bobby gladden was charged as an adult with attempted murder. police chief james johnson provided new details of the allegations against the teenager. he says that gladden for the bus to school with a double barreled shotgun broken out in his book bag. he went to his first and secondary classes, and then to the cafeteria for lunch. he got the gun from a bathroom where he had hidden it and put it together and got off one shot before being restrained by the guidance counselor and other school staff. that hit a 17-year-old in the lower blacback. he remains in critical condition. we are aware of many reports that the suspect was a victim of bullying. we cannot confirm those reports. robert gladden s conversations with investigators have not indicated bullying was an issue in this case.
