Uptown 240’s new lender came before the Dillon Town Council Tuesday to appease some worries about the project and assure all its path to completion was forming, although some backward steps would have to be.
Dillon voters will have the option of setting new lodging and excise taxes directed at short-term rentals on Nov. 8. The ballot initiative will offer voters the options of creating a 5% excise tax on.
A presentation from developers on Uptown 240’s future planned for Tuesday’s Dillon Town Council meeting did not occur as expected. Developers alerted the board that they couldn’t speak openly yet, which will delay their update.
The Lake Dillon Theatre Co. approached the Dillon Town Council Tuesday, July 19, requesting sustained financial support for its free dual-language, after-school program. The theater plans on expanding its programs to Dillon Valley and Summit.
U.S. Highway 6 through Dillon could receive a well-rounded change in the coming years. One proposed roundabout could replace the current four-way intersection where the highway intersects Lake Dillon Drive, and a second would sit.
