INFOGEST is an international network with the aim of Sharing Information on the Digestion of Food. INFOGEST was created under a cost Action [FA1005] and has evolved into an open network of scientists from both academia and industry from over 45 countries. The aim of the network is to improve the current scientific knowledge on how food is disintegrated during oral, gastric and intestinal digestion.
The INFOGEST webinar series is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 2PM and is hosted by Dr André Brodkorb of Teagasc.
This month, the theme of the webinar is “Digestive Amylases and Starch Digestion”, featuring presentations from Dr Sophie Vinoy (Mondelēz International, Saclay, France) and Dr Daniela Freitas (INRAE and Teagasc). The Q and A session will be moderated by Prof. Caroline Orfila (University of Leeds) and Nadja Siegert (Fresenius Kabi).
