Amendment to our constitution which simply says that equality is for everyone in this country. You cannot discriminate based on sex. If you words, thats it. Nothing controversial. Country should provide equal protections to all, and when the constitution was written, women were deliberately left out and we believe that because of that they have been paying for discrimination in terms of rights, protections, and recourse that they needed in the courts should anything happen to them. Germany. In a News Conference which ended just a few minutes ago in east berlin, government officials have announced communist east germany have announced their border open with west germany. East german citizens now have the right to cross directly from east germany into west germany. Up to now, as you know, the thousands, tens of thousands of east germans going west have had to pass through other communist east bloc nations, most of them passing through czechoslovakia. But as of right now according to the official statement just concluded, they have the right to go directly to west germany.
