A BUSINESSWOMAN is facing a £10,000 repair bill after a car crashed through her hairdressing salon which she was preparing to reopen after being closed for 10 weeks due to coronavirus restrictions.
Carmel Dooley, from Mane Attraction Unisex Hair Salon on Killeaveay Road in Newry, Co Down said the destruction of the premises before dawn on Saturday is a setback.

A hairdresser in Newry, County Down, has been left absolutely devastated after a car crashed into her business, seriously damaging the building.
The vehicle knocked through the shop s front wall, and causing extensive damage inside on Saturday morning.
Carmel Dooley, from Mane Attraction Unisex Hair Salon, said it was the last thing the business needed.
She said the business had been closed for the past 10 weeks due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Ms Dooley estimated about £10,000 of damage had been caused by the crash to the premises on Killeavy Road.
