Unlike COVID-19, health officials say this will not be another pandemic with a vaccine already available that prevents a person from getting sick after exposure.
This week, the CDC recommended a COVID-19 booster shot for children 5 to 11 years old.Following the FDA’s approval of a booster on Tuesday, the CDC made its recommendation on Thursday.
