The site manager at a much-loved lido waded through waist-high flood waters on Christmas Day to prevent further damage to the popular attraction.

Shaun Crowley, the director of Beccles Lido Limited, said the latest disaster came in the midst of the coronavirus crisis where they had lost more than £100,000.

good morning. i m carolyn tyler. the stormy weather tops our newscast. let s check in with lisa argen for the latest. we had earlier small stream flood advisory for another half an hour. flooding on the roadways and creeks have been rising but the rain has lightened up significantly over the past hour or so. you notice the east bay we still have rain around hayward and livermore, in the north bay light to moderate rain. around the dublin area looking at a pocket of moderate rain and also around cupertino and campbell more rain showers about two inches. in accountantfield over an inch and in inch and a third in livermore. few more rain showers and a little bit of break and a soggy christmas coming up. we ll look for that. pg&e has restored power to more than 4,000 customers affected by an outage in half moon bay. the lights went out and electricity was finally restored by 10:00 last night. so far this morning no new outages have been reported anywhere in the bay area. an
