The Jackson County Health Department is offering COVID vaccine clinics at area schools this month.
These clinics are open to the entire community, not just students, said Jessica Grammer, who is a preparedness and client specialist. These are the second doses for people that came in our first round of clinics, and we re also going to over first doses so anyone is eligible to come, ages 12 and up, she said. If whole families want to come or just people by themselves, it s not just open to school-aged children. It s open to anybody 12 and older.
Grammer said that while young people might not be as concerned about COVID, it s important for everyone to get vaccinated.
