PULASKI â Giving back to front-line workers in the fight against COVID-19 was the goal of Pulaski Academy and Central School middle school students this week as they made a special delivery to Upstate Medical University.
Boxes of cookies from Bevâs Bakery made their way to the hospitalâs COVID-19 treatment area to several health care workers, including PACS alumnae Britney Peter, R.N. and Cara Johnson, R.N.
âBeing a nurse in the hospital is very challenging to begin with and, when you add the pandemic and people being so sick on top of it, itâs really tough,â Peter said. âIt goes so far when people do small things like this to acknowledge youâre dealing with difficult things right now.â

Actress and entrepreneur, Ernestine Johnson Morrison founded several businesses including Green Lit ATL and The Legacy Center. Green Lit ATL is the premiere film industry event where creators are able to show off their work and network amongst the industry. The Legacy Center, also known as “The Blackhouse” is a co-working and educational center to help broaden the horizon for young Black entrepreneurs and elevate their businesses.
