With the ceasing of operations at 97 Chapel Ave., the neighborhood restaurant will conclude a run that began in 2006. Previously, Chapel Bistro operated from the space, having opened in the early 2000s. Yvette Thomas and Guillermo “Willy” Thomas own Eastland Café, which is located in a commercial node some refer to as “Walden.” The two also own Park Café in Sylvan Park on the city’s West Side, as well as Pomodoro in East Nashville and sited a few blocks east of Eastland Café.
