Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi highlighted the need for increased state funding for Penn State’s in-state students and their families, as well as the value of a Penn State degree and the University’s work in educating the state’s future workforce, during a March 30 hearing of the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee in Harrisburg.
Advocate Penn State Capital Day will return on April 14 with a new take on the annual University-wide day of advocacy that brings together the Penn State community to share their stories of the many ways Penn State benefits the commonwealth.
