The burn will take place in the vicinity of Mackay Eungella Road, Eungella National Park, Ball Bay Rd, Kippen Dr and Cape Hillsborough National Park.
The burn will take place until Saturday, with considerations taken for potential changes in weather forecasts.
As a result, smoke may be seen in the Netherdale and Eungella National Park area, as well as the Cape Hillsborough National Park. Planned controlled burning will take place from Thursday in the Mackay region. Picture: Jason Edwards
