The substance abuse prevention and treatment organization Cape Assist says programs this summer will help shore communities address problems with rowdy juveniles.
Cops in Wildwood say they found a mother of three young children overdosing earlier this week; she is now facing a list of charges and the state has taken temporary custody of the kids.
Officers with the Wildwood Police Department were contacted by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency on Tuesday and they were asked to check on the wellbeing of several small children at a home on the 200 East Block of Glenwood Avenue in the city.

Police say when they arrived at the home, they found 28-year-old Lisa Jane Griner, the mother of a one, seven, and eight-year-old, experiencing the effects of a drug overdose. Griner was unconscious and unresponsive, according to a press release. Officers administered a dose of Naloxone which allowed Griner to recover. Additional medical help was provided by Wildwood Fire/Rescue at the scene.
